The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. APPLE XSERVER & PC's

I have two Xservers osx 10.2 & osx 10.5 in workgroup
I have a server 2003 running DNS & DHCP if it helps and the domain is called bournemouth
I am trying to connect to a shared folder via the PC
If I connect to the older 10.2 ip 192.168.1.3 the pc ask for a username and password
start, run \\192.168.1.3
I enter the Username and password but it just returns with bournemouth/username and the password box

I try the other mac server  10.5 and I can connect but dont have access to delete or modify I have check most of the settings and they look OK

any one with any ideas to any of my two problems ?Start Free Trial
