I am a teacher in a small school and we are wanting to use the old macs that we have in an Xgrid type supercomputer. We have 30 old macs from 400MHz to 867MHz, (I know they are slow) but its just to show the students that you can reuse old computers for something other than landfill,<br />
O.K. so for my question I would like to know is there a &quot;how to&quot; somewhere that I can show them, and then they can set it up from scratch so they can feel that they did it them selfs, I know that its easy enough to do &quot;but If you don't know networking well&quot; its not as easy.<br />

how do I set up Xgrid

Apple's early computers ran on a variety of operating systems, including a Pascal version and one based on CP/M, before releasing its ProDOS with the advent of its 16-bit computer. With the release of the Lisa, which had its own OS, Apple and computing entered the graphical age; it was followed by the Macintosh, which offered a series of "System" operating systems. Other Mac operating systems included PowerPC until Apple acquired NeXT and folded it into the Mac OS. Current operating systems for Apple devices are Mac OS-X and iOS.
