Mac OS X - Citrix client not working, it uses Java

I am trying to connect to my company's Citrix metaframe login site. I've tried installing the ICA client version 10, XenApp 11 and restarting. But no matter if I try the website with Safari or FireFox, whenever I open to launch an application from the web page, it says I must have Java.

Any way I can force it to use my Citrix on my Mac?

Do you have the latest Java fr OS X installed via Apple Software Updates?

The ICA client is super finicky. You'll need to install it with the browser you're intending to use for the site. You'll also need to update Java manually if it's out of date.
Also ensure that the site you're trying to connect to is trusted.

If all else fails, reinstall it from scratch.

That's all we can do until it works. Too bad there's no easy fix for this.

Macs seem to be great systems until it comes to business related stuff don't they.
