Will it be own resolution 1280x800 on your own macbook pro and
display with resolution 1920x1200 on external monitor/tv by Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter and/or Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter ?
I means different resolution on macbook pro and external monitor/tv is it?
After connected Mini DisplayPort Adapter between macbook pro and monitor/tv,
Will it have popup application and asking about resolution of external monitor/tv and set resolution by this popup application is it?
It automatically detects the resolution of the monitor on the external connection. You can choose to use it as the main monitor by dragging your menu bar onto it.
Your MacBook screen will remain at its normal 1280 x 800 resolution but the external screen will be at 1920 x 1200.
You can change the setup in the Preferences/Displays. So you can mirror them or have them showing separate windows. You can also change their relative positions in the preferences.
Your MacBook will still go to sleep if you close the lid. You can get a utility (Insomnia) to stop this happening, but there's a danger of overheating your MacBook when running it with the lid closed.
It all sounds complicated, but if you jump in and try it you'll find it very easy and intuitive.
Turn off the external monitor before plugging it in.
