Did it push through?
If not then start again:
Kill the installation - hold the power button until it the computer goes black.
Start from the DVD - hold the Option key during the start-up gong.
Before the install, partition your disk - after you've selected the language go to Utilities menu > Disk Utility - select the disk (not the partition) on the left - select Partition tab on the right - pick 1 Partition from the drop-down menu - click Options and select GUID partition - Apply these settings, wait then close Disk Utility
Proceed with installation
