Every time I open iTunes, I have to reenter my login and password to authorize my Audible audiobooks. That's not such a problem if I want to play the audiobooks through iTunes on my computer (though I know it's not "right") BUT here's the problem. I have my iPhone set to automatically sync when I attach it to my computer and, when I do -- every day for backup purposes -- if iTunes was not already open and the Audible files reauthorized, I get the following message:
"Some of the Audible files in the iTunes library were not copied to the iPhone because you are not authorized to play them on this computer." If I click OK (my only choice), my Audible files are removed from my iPhone. Then they need to be restored by authorizing Audible, and then resyncing.
Note: if I remember to open iTunes and reauthorize the Audible files before I plug in my iPhone, no problem. However, it's surely a bug that I should have to reauthorize every time I open iTunes.
BTW, I'm on a computer where I am the admin and am signed in as such, so it's not a problem of authorizing without administrator privileges. And I don't have any other non-Audible authorization problems with the other family computers with which I share iTunes files and iPod apps.
FYI, I have a new iMac (21.5" 3.06 GHz) and this problem has only occurred since I moved my files to this computer from my old G5 (using Time Machine).
Any help would be appreciated.
