So first 250 shuffles, the other 250 remain in the same order.
The 250 shuffled items still need to remain as the first 250 items followed by the unshuffled items.

You just have to limit the array either. One could do that in place or what I would prefer. Just create a new array and fill that up, then prepend or append it to the old array.
