Need template for copy response?

I'm trying to create a filesystem watcher using the Automation Assistant that includes a copy response, and keep getting a message:

A Template is Required
Please create a template before creating a copy response

It works fine if I choose most of the destinations, but of course not the one I am trying to use (which is also an archive location if that makes a difference).

Thanks for any advice.
