when i am using Mac os, and browse the Vista partition to my desktop folder and try to transfer a file, it tells me i dont have write permissions. I am not prompted for authentication.

How to transfer files from mac osx to vista partition in bootcamp, need write permissions.
Mac os x leopard need to transfer files to the Vista bootcamp partition but i only have read access. I created a folder on the Vista desktop that i want to be able to move files to. I think i had this working before on another machine, but forget how i did it, or maybe i am just confusing myself with parallels.

Both have latest patches
I am the administrator of both accounts

Are the account names and passwords exactly the same on both machines? They will need to be else you can just type in the Vista username and password on the Mac and this will work.
