Reset admin password
The person that setup the admin password on our filemaker database no longer works here and is unreachable. We do not know the admin password. Is there a way to reset this password without having to buy software to do it?
if you're sure there an admin account in it, it can be retrieved using a utility sold by lostpassword.com
but be care, if it's been done on purpose, he may have removed the admin account completely using the dev version utilities.

make sure it has an admin account first by using the demo version (filemaker key says it in demo mode)

ok the demo version found the password but now i need to know what the password is and i'm not sure if my boss is willing to purchase the software for this. is there any other way to get the password

Hi,
1)You can do so by starting your computer in safe mode ,in safe mode it will not ask for login credentials once you login to your system goto start---cmd---type (control userpasswords2) and you can set admin password through this process . OR
2)You can do so by replacing the Jumper on your MotherBoard which is close to your CMOS Battery and restart your computer this will break Admin Password and allow you login without Admin Credentials.
3)Another way is to create a Temhack file by booting your system with CD Rom or bootdisk and goto c: drive system32 file and create a Temphack file and u can break admin password.
