I've been all across the Internet today looking for an answer to this question and haven't found a satisfactory answer.
I'm using FileMaker 8 and I want to be able to change the background color of a record depending on whether or not a checkbox is checked.
Basically, I have a file that I need to print for a report. The report needs to show records that are currently on hold. I have created an "Inactive" value list and turned it into a checkbox and gone through the records and checked the inactive ones. I would like the background of those inactive records to show up red when I print the entire report.
What's frustrating is that I remember doing this exact thing on a separate database using FileMaker 6. Unfortunately, I don't have access to that database anymore, so I can't retrace my steps. Can anyone help me sort this out?
