How do you  have Macs at remote locations connect to server used in our in-house network?

We have six Macs using Filmaker 9.5 connected to a server using Filemaker Server. I would like certain employees to work from their Macs at home. Need assistance with the settings to make it happen!
FYI we are using Static IP address at the server and for the in-house unitsStart Free Trial
