When trying to access FileMaker databases using the same passwords weve always used, we are no longer granted full access. What happens is this, we enter the account name and password in the password dialog box and hit enter, and then the password dialog box blinks and comes back up as if nothing has happened the username and password no longer appear in the account name and password fields in the box. If I enter the account name and password again I get this message: The account name and password you entered does not match those for any FileMaker account. If I click ok, the password dialog box re-appears, but this time the account name and password remain; clicking ok in the password box again brings up the same password not working message, but clicking cancel bring up the database in a read-only mode.
Once the database is open, I try to change the password, but then the same problem occurs when I try to logon.
Whats going on here, and how can I access these databases?
