FileMaker Pro 8.5 - Delete all Records
There is a nasty, powerful menu choice in FM called Delete all Records, and it is WAY too easy to accidentally hit. I disabled deletes in other accounts, but how can I modify the admin account I use such that I can do everything BUT delete all records? I see a custom menu option but I can't make heads or tails out of it. F1 wasn't much help either.

yes, this is the way.
make a custom menu:
tools/manage custom menus/menus set (tab)
duplicate the "custom menu set 1"
double click and change name to say "mine"
now edit/"records copy"/edit and trash "delete records" (icon top right corner of the commands list)
close this windows with OK and at the bottom, make it the default menu set for this file. that will apply for the [full access] too.
actually, you'd better replace it with a script of yours doing the same with a double confirmation, for instance 1st confirmation with yes on the right, and 2nd confirmation with yes on the left to avoid nervous deletes!
