PowerEdge 6400 sATA adapter

Hello,

I have a Dell PowerEdge 6400 server and i am trying to install a sATA raid controller into it (PROMISE SATA300 TX4 PCI SATA II 4-Port Adapter)... but the server will not boot when the controller is connected...

The server has a SCSI raid car already installed in it that runs the 2 SCSI hard drives that the OS is running from....

This is the last statement the bios outputs on boot: (please see picture)

Any suggestions are welcome...
