I found this in Roxio's Knowledge base:

Hope this helps but like they say not every cd burner/player can read CD-TEXT tracks
And it should work with Toast 5.2
Roxio Toast 5.2 supports CD-Txt just fine. Don't know why anyone would claim it's 'not gonna happen' with Toast, when the ReadMe in Toast 5.2 clearly states:
---
New in Toast 5.2:
- CD TEXT: Toast now writes CD TEXT information for disc name and track
titles to recorded audio discs. This information is viewable in CD
audio players that display CD TEXT. Writing CD TEXT is supported on
most MMC3-compliant recorders.
Note: Some recorders that follow the CD TEXT specification may have
unpredictable results, including unplayable media. We recommend
testing CD TEXT on your recorder before using this feature regularly..
---
Says same on the website. Helps to read.

There is some information at this link: /~aa571/cd text.htm
http://www.ncf.carleton.ca
I don't think that CD-TEXT is supported in Toast 5.2, but possibly in Toast 6. Not only does the burning application have to support CD-TEXT, but also the cd burner you're using.
I hope this helps
