Browse All TopicsI created a new esp file using Photoshop CS2 on OS X system, while attempting to save it on the our Windows Storage server I received a permissions error (although I have admin rights) soon after I was able to save the file (somehow). However, I am getting this error when attempting to open it "Could not complete your request because the parser module cannot parse the file." Thanks -

There are a couple of possibilities. It's possible that the macintosh information didn't get saved and Photoshop is unable to determine what kind of file it is. Photoshop may then be using the wrong parser to open the file. If the file has a .eps extension, though, this is unlikely to be the cause. If it doesn't have the .eps extension, add it and see if that solves the problem.
Otherwise, the file may have been truncated when the server error occurred and the end of the file is either missing or corrupt. If so, your file will not be salvageable -- it will be necessary to recreate it.
