powerpoint corrupted?

Tags: microsoft, microsoft office, 2004, powerpoint is possibly corrupted, The application PowerPoint quit unexpectedly.

I created a PowerPoint file with office Mac 2004 but two days later I was not able to open the file. I though it was the software. I reinstalled office, I downloaded all the updates, I tried opening the file with another Mac but was getting the same error. The file works on a pc I can make changes to the file and change the file extension but PowerPoint for  Mac 2004 wont open the file.
