Playback of WMV files on iMAC

Tags: Microsoft, Windows Media Player is version 9.0., 9.0, this is for mac, This file may not play correctly because it was compressed by using a codec that is not supported
Hi one of our clients is having a problem playing wmv file on an Imac. When they attempt to play them they get an error which reads "This file may not play correctly because it was compressed by using a codec that is not supported." Afterwards the movie will run, but with only the sound, no image. They are running an Imac, version 10.4.11. with Windows Media Player is version 9.0

Any help on this very much appreciated. thanks

I didnt realize just assume it was a system name with xp windows.
