Question

Uninstall Dreamweaver CS4

Asked by: bcladmin

I installed the trial version of Dreamweaver CS4 and my 30 days has run out but I can't see it in my Add Remove programs to uninstall it I have looked for a uninstaller in Program Files as well but couldn't see anything.

I have a copy of CS3 Design installed already could this be causing a problem?

i think if you insert the DVD, you will get some option like repair and remove
something like that
click remove, it will give you options what program you want to remove

or double click the exe for reamweaver, and see if there is option to remove

The trial was a download from Adobe so I don't have a CD and the only options you i get when launching the Dreamweaver exe is to enter a serial number or visit the Adobe site to buy one?!

Well I've ran the CS4 clean up script chose Dreamweaver CS4 and it looked like it was uninstalling it now i've restarted and I still have Dreamweaver CS4 in my programs list but CS3 has disappeared from my Add Remove Programs list but is still in my programs list?? So basically I don't have any Adobe CS products in my Add Remove but they are all still installed.

Cheers.

Dreamweaver doesn't appear in the list?!

by: carrzkissPosted on 2009-03-13 at 04:56:33ID: 23878115

I just downloaded the Utility and installed it.
And it is showing every Adobe product that I have installed.
Including DWCS3

So. if you are not seeing it in the list, then it is no longer installed on your system.

Try installing CS3 and see what it says?

I know what you're saying but it's still in my programs and launches into the enter serial number screen and all the program files are still there? I'll stick in the CS3 disc and see what happens.

Cheers.

If you get no problems after sticking in you cs3, and it installs without a hitch
Then [delete] the folder that cs4 is in.

Good Luck
