Browse All TopicsI need to type and print the Apple Mac Command (clover leaf) and Option key characters. How do I do it. Google gives me tons of cheat sheets for every character known to man except those two.

the easy way, the option key symbol is on the line below the cmd key symbol use link below

the tedious way:
It is unicode 2318 and so you can find it in the character palette under Code Tables>Unicode>2300>2318 or you can go into All Characters>Symbols>Technical

If you switch your keyboard to Unicod Hex Input, then holding down opt allows you to type the four digits for a unicode symbol and get the (2318).

Thanks for that. The Character Palette is a blessing, but multi-stroke keybindings are a bit out of my league at present.

The Unicode Hex Input is exactly what I was after.
For the benefit of my fellow Mac noobs, enable Unicode Hex Input in the Input Menu. See here for that:
