Browse All TopicsHi,
I have used FCE 4 for a while without problems, and all of a sudden when I try to import clips through log and transfer it is very choppy (playback), and seems that the framerate is "destroyed" in that it actually jumps back some frames and plays them "again" (which gives the choppy playback).
Importing the same clips through iMovie 09 and exporting it as XML for FCE and importing in FCE works as it should 100%.

If anyone else stumbles upon this annoying bug I figured it out:
Just disable / uninstall Perian. Perian for some reason does something to FCE and the player, and for a stranger reason iMovie09 is not affected by this.
