Sorry, but too many comments online about Azureus/Vuze containing a virus, and it's listed mostly on bittorrent pages. Think I need to find some other way. Thanks anyway.

Well, I would not know as I use Azereus/vuse on a Mac so I don't have to worry about vuirii and such. I ,have, however, also previously used it on many flavors of XP and have never been infected. Azureus did begin its life as a basic p2p file share program. I think people have provably injudiciously p2/ep themselves into an infection but that does not mean you have to download anything with it. I mean if you download porn or warez with it and don't quarantine the files while your security systems check them out then that is just plain fodder for any infection outbreak you can name. Just get, put it behind your firewall and refuse it any outside communication through special app rules. Then just drag and drop any movie you want to stream to your ps 3. It takes a while to convert big files of course depending on the speed of the machine but the price(free) is hard to beat. Just use it solely for streaming your movies and you should be happy as a clam. The nice thing is that you don't have to port forward or do any internal lan setup. Vuse detects your ps 3 on the lan and set it all up automatically. Pretty nice for a beta http://www.vuze.com/corp/P

O yes it will stream your itunes as well
O and naturally do not instal the vuze toolbar as that is attackable in Windows. So don't throw out the bath with the bath. Download it. Set your outgoing communication from it to nothing allowed in your firewall and enjoy is pretty mature for s beta wired hd streaming. If you have a wireless n router you might try wireless but I don't know if ps 3 supports the n standard anyway. Wired works smooth as silk. Don't sweat it just follow best practice and you will be fine.

If you download the Azueus application with its new vuze interface then it has a beta streaming function to ps 3 from itunes or movie files. It has to convert them into its own or should I say a ps 3 compatible interface but it is just drag and drop. From my experience wireless g is a no go at least with hd quality. Using a cat 53 cable though from my router to my ps3 though works just fine. It is still in beta. In one movie I tried there was no sound but the other two worked and played flawlessly. Azureus is available on both Mac, PC and probably linux as well. Just google it.
