Thanks, but Kashflow does not offer import of QUickbooks files....
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI am a long time user of Quickbooks on the Mac, running a small business.
The recent upgrade to Snow Leopard presents a functional conflict with QB2007. Intuit is forever weak on their Mac support. I dont want to invest another $200 for QB2009 to solve this issue and regret the investment. QB2007 is not being supported with SNow Leopard.
I've searched for a Mac alternative to QB that can import the QB .qbmb files.
Any ideas?
Of course I can load QB into a parallels environment on the Mac, put that is a lot of luggage to carry for one app....
Thanks,
CSS

I've just been researching QB for a client or alternatives in windows and I can say that QB is the pits when
it comes to any kind of support from them. Forums and loyal users is their best friend.
On the other side, it is the most common used and of all the other apps I checked, Peachtree etc, are
not much more than a clone.
QB interact with MS office seamlessly, and it truly makes it a different program if that's what in your needs.
It certainly has the most apps/utilities written to integrate with it to facilitate the usage of it.
Conclusion: with those options, I found it to be very good at what it does, used within those confines
but don't look to do anything it's not made to do. If it works for you, it's great. if you're looking to use
it beyond what it's design capabilities, then you're out of luck . it's worth running in windows mode
with it's host of programs if it does what you want. Most of the progs you would use with it give you
30 dyas to try.
good luck

I've used this quite extensively and love it. I think they have a trial version you can download as well. I'm a project manager and need to keep tight control of budgeting and this has always been a solid app for me.
