Browse All TopicsI am wanting to export a keynote presentation (it's just one slide) to a mov file. I have a sound file that is 3 seconds long that I want to play exactly when a pic I have inserted comes up. I can't seem to find where to do this. All I can do is have the file play in sequential order. The logo comes up as number 5 in the sequence of the slide and all I can do is add the audio file as number 6 which plays after the picture shows up. I want it to play when the pic shows on the screen. One more thing. This seems to work when I play slideshow but when I export it to a mov file it plays in sequence and the sound and pic are not together. This is keynote '09

Here's what you need to do.
With both items in your keynote, open up "inspector" and go to the "Build inspector" (third one from left)
Click on "More options" at the bottom of your screen and you can then see each item as it happens (transitions in, etc.) Click on the audio file on the left hand side (if you've already made it start playing, if not, click on the audio clip and then choose "effect" --> "Start audio".
Once you see that in your list of builds on the left, just click on "on click" and change it to "automatically after build n" (where n is the number of the build your photo is).
Let me know if you have any questions about my explanation!
