Question

removing remembered passwords or logons

On some of my different accounts, I have passwords remembered by the system or they keep every attempt at a password and bring it up as a possibility when I start logging in the next time.  How can I remove these from their lists.

Most of your passwords are stored in your Keychain and can be deleted using the Keychain Access App found in \Applications\Utiltiies.

Some may be stored in your browser cache or cookies. How these can be removed depends on the browser. In Safari, for instance, go the Security Tab in the Safari Prefs, and click on Show Cookies.

This is for apple?
As stated above, each browser too has their own settings for remembering passwords, they can be set to never remember for any sites, or you can specify certain sites to not remember and all others will prompt you to remember.

I went on to IE and found deleting history, and choosing passwords would solve my problem.
