Browse All TopicsI've recently switched to a Mac from the Windows/Linux world, and everything is going well, but I'd like to change the keyboard shortcut for 'Send Mail' in the Mac's email program. Currently, it's Shift+Command+D (for deliver?). It's awkward, I'm used to the Control + Enter shortcut I used in the Windows/Linux world.
I found the keyboard preferences, Keyboard Shortcuts, and I'm trying to add one for the 'Mail' application. It's prompting me for the "Menu Title". I've tried 'Send Message", "Message Send" and just "Send", but neither seems to work.
Running Snow Leopard on a Imac.
Is this even possible?
Thanks.

Philip,
I did that before I posted my question, but it didn't work. I tried again and paid more attention, and the problem is that mail doesn't recognize the Control+Enter in the body of the message. The shortcut is changed on the menu, but when I press it, all it does is go to a new line. If I tab into an address field, then hit Control+Enter, then it does send the message.
I tried Shift+Control+Enter, same thing.
it's as if the C+E in the text control takes precedence over the Send shortcut.
Not sure if this is a bug, or functions as designed?
