Arunkumar,
Are you Jerrith?

Hello Spidey,

Arun is Arun, my buddy and jerrith's buddy.
And we do this points stealing game for fun :-)

Sometimes somebody does not look to the comment poster name like you and... bingo :-)

It's a game between friends.

And thank you for your work here on EE.

Cheers,
Zvonko

Zvonko,  Arunkumar, jerrith:

I can appreciate the type of fun you are trying to have on this site, but it puts me in a difficult position.

1) It give me more work to do and I've got more than my share
2) It is against the membership agreement and constitues an abuse of the points system.

I need all 3 of you to re-read the membership agreement and indicate back here your understanding of it and future compliance with it within the next 72 hours.
It can be found at: https://www.experts-exchange.com/jsp/infoMemberAgreement.jsp
Jerrith will have 72 hours from the time he/she arrives on the scene here or after I post in another question he or she is on.

Now, I must go back through all of your accounts and review which points were ill-gotten gains and correct the problem.   Quite frankly, I won't be a patient moderator if I catch this sort of thing again.

Hey Spidey, calm down.

All three of us are professionals and we are not since yesterday here in the EE community.
First of all are these jokes between us only done between us. Nobody complained about it because it was so far a game between us. We did not steal other experts points.

If for you this is only a business place then it would be the wrong place for me. I am here only because of the friendly community and because of my friends here. Otherwise I would have plenty of other places to get my fun.

Of course is every community bound to rules and depend on people like you which do housekeeping work. I am really thankful for your work because it kept my lowed meeting place now for years.

And what is so wrong on this points stealing? It proves only that some questioner do not take the time to even correctly read experts comments! Hold against this the countless hours jerrith, Arun and me invested to answer questions.

By the way, I can not remember jerrith made an attempt to catch some other buddies points.

I was the one who started this silly game. I fooled a Mod like you and got appropriate reaction from Arun. Since then the proportion of successful stealing between Arun and me is five to four. That mean, it is not worth to invest your valuable time to correct this nonsense points.

If you in spite of this minor importance of upper wrong granted points want to correct some points, then I have a work for you :-) I have three accounts here on EE: zvonko, stamp and Zvonko. Of course I used only one account at same time. Now it would be fine if you could collect all me expert points to the account Zvonko. What about this work :-)

Oh, and jerrith is again in office on Monday. I have his phone number, but I think the importance is not so high to ring him on weekend :-)

Nice weekend to you,
Zvonko

Oh, and I just have reread the EE Member Agreement. Nothing special new there. Especially no t-shirts for points :-) So what line do you want us to read there?

Zvonko,
I am very calm.  My apologies if it appears otherwise.  This is a tough forum to convey emotion or lack thereof within it.  Emoticons are a start but can be used deceivingly so I tend not to use them at all.

This is not only a place of business to me.  I have an expert account and when I want to have fun or be silly, I join in on a thread in the lounge or other Miscellaneous topic areas.  I've done it as a mod as well, played in the lounge.  In the technical areas, I like to keep it clean.  It is my job to enforce the rules, so I do so when necessary.  The specific part of the membership agreement that I was referring to is:
* misusing the Experts Exchange point system

When I come across what I view as a breach of that agreement, I like people to re-read everything to perhaps pick up on that which they might not have realized.

As far as your 3 accounts and gathering the points for them, I will ask an admin if this is something to be done.

I agree that ringing your friend on the weekend is not necessary.  When he responds here, he will have the same 72 hours as the both of you have been given.

A nice weekend to you as well.

To Spidey: thanks, I have understood :-)

To qwaletee: I see no emoticons in your comment :-)
My comment is: better bad boy then illiterate boy who misreads the poster's name :-)

Hey, SPidey, is Zvoko calling you or your colleagues illiterates?

Now THAT's funny.

Man, I've got to downgrade my social skills.
Boy, you already did it :-)

Hi Jerrith-Bro !

How was your weekend ?  Did you have enough Fun ?

;-)
PS: Just trying to be nice to Jerrith as my EE account is really in his hands!  LOL ...

Played a lot of tennis and drank some beers, as usual :-)
Ha ha, nice to see you are worried about your account ROTFL.
No Beer for the past more than 35 days.  I am married you see ?

:-(
My poor friend Arun is in trouble here.  There's only one thing that can be done to make this right.  Kick all these guys out of EE forever and assign all their points to me.  (Dr Evil laughter here)
Haa Haa Haa ! That was a good one Sno.  But dont be so greedy. Why do you want to be #1. Just get all my points and become #2 what do you say ?
Before I forget:
Thank you SpideyMod for awarding these points to me. Much appreciated the work you guys do in keeping EE running.

(Never mind the blabber mouths over here)
I don't want to be #2!  I want to be #1 and show #2 who is boss!  Jerrith called us blabber-mouth's, I'm sure that must be a violation of EE etiquette rules.
Will he be fired from EE ?
Sure it is! We are not blabber-mouths! We are chatter-boxes :-)
Awarding the points to jerrith.

I've got confirmation of the rules re-read and future compliance from Zvonko only.  I am still in need of this from Arunkumar and jerrith.

Spidey.
Spidey has cast his web of good.  Now the challenge will be getting these guys to read the rules since they are near illiterate.  Ha ha.  Guys here's a tip, repeat after me; 'I have read the rules and agree to comply and will never, ever steal points, especially from my pal snocross'
You are the first one on my list Sno :-)

But Spiday, doing this things could we repair two old thing please?
I have one open question in account "stamp" and grading given in second question in that account is wrongly B. Please repair it to an A :-)

So please give the points in this question to Sno:)

And correct this question to an A please:

Thanks in advance,
Zvonko
:-(

I did read the following guidelines.  I re-read the last-but-one bullet 15 times.

I dont want to lose you guys!
:-)
Arun.

Just say you will comply and Spidey will forgive you.  He is just doing his job keeping the community free of villains.  Hey maybe next to the top 15 we could have the 'Most Wanted' villains of EE and they could put Arun's picture on there.  Ha ha!  LOL!
LOL !  I wish my picture be displayed at EE someday. But now "Expert of the Week" section is gone.  I wonder why ?
I know I used to enjoy that feature.
Zvonko,
I changed the grade on the second link provided.  However, I simply PAQ'd the first link.  An answer of "very interesting" to a question that isn't really a question but a statment of technology found indicated PAQ instead of awarding.

Arunkumar,
Yours was probably more of a rhetorical question, but...I don't know why the EOTW feature was disabled, so I can't help you there.  If it is important to obtain an answer, I'll ask Wes and see what he says.  Just let me know.

Spidey.
I am not particular about the EOTW, but if you look into my profile you can see something wierd on the next point accumulation date.  Can you help me on that ?  I think EE owes me a lot more of question points.  What do you think ?

:-)
Arun.
Just looked at the link... what are you trying to get me in trouble too Zvo?  Why would you give me the points?  Wow this is turning into a soap opera!  Ha ha.
Arunkumar,
I have forwarded the Points distro issue to an admin.

Zvonko,
I spoke with the admins about transferring your points from other accounts and the answer they gave me was it wouldn't be done.

Everybody,
I need to know any and all duplicate accounts you all are using or have used in the past so I can make certain they are closed if the need be.  I have Zvonko's dups.  I encourage you to take your friendly conversations to the lounge and leave the technical areas for technical questions.  I appreciate your cooperation in this matter.  I hate to keep harping the issues, but the more I see in your accounts, the more issues I find that need addressing.  I don't want to discourage your friendships or fun, just guide you to the acceptable forum provided here at EE to do so with.  I appreciate your cooperation thus far.

Spidey.
Arunkumar,

As I recall, the date you see is the date you became a Premium Services member; it's definitely NOT the day you last received points. As near as I can tell, you're up to date.

Netminder
EE Admin
Oh Okay !

That answers most of my doubts.  Thanks NetMinder.

I just saw your picture on home page of EE and was thinking is this the person who owns EE ?

<|;-)
Arun.
Nope. Austin is shorter than I am, has dark hair and a beard. He's also a lot younger and plays much better golf... <laughing>
Thanks Spidey for the answer. If a collection of my expert points can not be done, then I can live with it. I already asked Wes about points join and he wanted to ask the technicians. Now I have the definite answer.

Your complains about our methods is absolutely understandable. I needed also a time to get familiar with this gossip group. But just today I got an email from a questioner asking who we are in this forum. The question is here:
https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/20613950/HemanthaKuma-Arunkumar-Zvonko-Jerrith-Snocross-Crak.html
This proves to me that we are not so wrong with our personalities here :-) We are absolutely open to embrace new members to our community.

That what you have seen in old chats is from our wild period. Just at the moment we are getting too quiet here. Can we agree with you that we try to make not too much jokes here, but can stay here with our topics in this technical topic area. Moving to EE lounge would bring our frequency to zero. By the way, we have our own private lounge on the web, but here on EE it is just more fun :-) Can we ask for your understanding about this?

Oh, and thanks for cleaning up my upper two old questions.

Wow, a lot has passed here since I was away for a couple of days (been with a client cleaning up +7000 virus infections, installing his network from scratch, ...)

Spidey,
I'm sorry if we did misuse EE in any way, we sure didn't intend to. You know how it is amongst friends, allthough we've never met in person, we feel pretty close and all this thanks to this great forum that is EE.
Without EE we would never have met and our conversations mostly do concern the topic, although I must admit that in common questions we sometimes get a bit distracted.

One advantage this gives is that you get a comment link in your mail that keeps the question active.

So, hereby I officially declare that I have read the EE community guidelines and will keep the gossip to a minimum in future.

Kind regards,
JM aka Jerrith

Yeah now we can move on!  Well said guys.
All,
Thank you for your time and understanding.  All is well here. Best wishes for your continued success and friendships.

Spidey.
