unable to open attachments in Outlook 2002
I have Outlook 2002 and a friend sent me an email with an .exe attachment. However, when I open the body of the email, there is a message across the top of the window that says "Outlook blocked access to the following potential unsafe attachments: Deskflagsetup.exe". This is a screensaver program a friend has sent and I'm sure it is safe. How can I disable this security measure in Outlook so I can open attachments? In the Help index for Outlook, it says that Outlook will block any attachments with a .exe extension because it could contain a virus, but the Help article doesn't mention anything about disabling this feature. Is there a way to disable or change the settings so I can open .exe attachments? Thanks for any help out there.

Go to File/Import messages on the menu, then choose Outlook from the list of programs, then choose the folder
to import - if you just want to import one message, create a folder in Outlook and move the message
to it before importing, then just import that folder.
You will then have a copy of the email in Outlook express and will be able to save the attachment
