Distribution List in the TO Field...

I have a distribution list and would like to have a name in the TO Field when recipients receive it instead of showing all of the addresses.
I know you can just add the list into th BCC field but that is not really what I'm looking to do.
Is there anyway to put the list in the TO Field and have the list name show up instead of all the addresses?

Oh yes... and the way to CREATE that dummy address above is to just create an OUTLOOK CONTACT with the NAME (first and last) or COMPANY to be the same as your list name. Put your own (or any) email address in the email field of this contact. One of the things i find useful when doing this is to create a "dummy" name that can EASILY be "abbreviated"...you know how outlook will take the first few characters you type and fill in the rest. If you will be doing this frequently....you wont want to type the dummy name in its entirety each time.

Thanks for the info. Makes perfect sense. Kind of strange though. I ran a test and when I added a new custom address and added my Exhange E-mail address in. No matter what display name I put it comes up with my name in the TO field for the distribution list recipients.
But when I created it and used my hotmail address the correct display name came up in the TO field.
