Outlook 2003 - Synchronization of Mailbox folders fails by hitting the F9 key

Hi,

I just upgraded to Outlook 2003 and it seems that my mailbox folders do not SYNCHRONIZE anymore when I hit the F9 (send/receive all) key.  E.g. Sent items contains 100 mail items when I am online, going offline after hitting the F9 does not show the 100 mail items.
The only way I can synchronize them is by hitting the "SHIFT F9" button BUT then I need to select EACH folder I want to synchronize.
I cannot believe that MS messed this up so what am I doing wrong or what do I have to reconfigure.

Hit CTRL + ALT + S and click Edit.  You have to select each folder that you want to synchronize, one by one.  Then when you perform a synchronization, Outlook will synch all folders that you have indicated that you want.

Nop, my groups were already defined before the upgrade and all folders were already selected.  Hitting F9 does not sync the Inbox in the off-line storage (*.ost).  Only SHIFT F9 does the job.
Perhaps you have to redefine your send/receive groups.  From MS:

F9
Starts send/receive for all defined Send/Receive groups with Include this group in Send/Receive (F9) selected. This can include headers, full items, specified folders, items less than a specific size, or any combination that you have defined.

SHIFT+F9
Starts a send/receive for current folder retrieving full items (header, item, and any attachments)

Also, check the options for your Inbox.
Hi,

in the send/receive groups following options are NOT selected, ALL others ARE:
    - make folder home pages available offline
    - synchronize forms

Full items selected, not only the headers.

Note that ALL folders are selected and used off-line

F9 ??? does not sync.

It looks like Microsoft knows about this problem. Stting up in cached excange modeis only the workaround (using another Outlook feature). the same problem happened when I upgraded. The only way I could get around this was to manually Send and receive each folder I needed ofline.
