Signature with both Text and HTML??

Hi there. Is it at all possible to create a signature that has HTML for HTML compliant clients, and Plain text for other clients. I currently have a HTML signature. If someone sends me a text email and I replay my signature is added with the text stripped out but formatting is all over the place. Really what I want is something like a Mime encoded one whereby The correct signature is shown to the client...

Hi slim
Not sure that this is do-able, as we have no control of how the recipient veiws or reads our email. Simplest business rule is to keep signature in a simple font, with no colors or special effects. Save pretty stuff for paper correspondance!

As a html page, because I have a couple of Images in it.
So I guess, you created the HTML file not using Outlook. With Outlook, the signature fileS would have been created as HTML,RTF and plain text. The format would have been selected automatically when replying (obviously not image in plain text)

You could try to edit the signature file from outlook and have a rtf or plain text created.

Otherwise, manually change the format to HTML (only when plain text as when RTF, the HTML is disabled) .
Unless someone has a better idea.....

My problem is when i am replying to mails, the signature fonts changes, How to overcome this. I think this happen because when i am replying or fowarding e-mails, it takes the editing option of the sender mail. If the mail that came is in txt editing mode, it takes the txt signature, and txt signature is created in only one font, I tried editing it, but txt file does not allow multiple fonts in one document. So is there a way to come around this, i.e when i am replying to mail, it should take my signature in the same format as i created it i.e with multiple fonts, when I am replying a mail, that has come in txt editing mode
You may configure (from OL 2002) the stationnery to be used when sending, replying, forwarding mails
Tools/Options/Mail Format/Sationnery/Fonts
Play with the various options

Well, i will do that, and get back. M/Time, is there a way to change the reply mail format, i.e if a mail comes to us in a plain text format, can we reply to it using and HTML format.
Manually, yes:
Reply (Replyall)/Format/
Select whatever you want

Ok, so here is what i need now,
Need a VBA code, that runs automatically, when a reply or foward button is pressed, performing these steps
*inquiring about the editor i.e either it is plain text, HTML, or RTF
*If plain text, delete the first occurance of the signature words,
*Change the mail editor options to HTML
*insert my signature again
