Export account settings in Office 2003

I know that the export to an .iaf file doesn't seem to be available after Office 2000.  Is there another method one can use to backup account settings in Office 2003?
(by account settings I mean name, password, mail server info etc.  ... not actual email messages into a .pst file)

Have you tried to export the entire PST and then import it back.. Have you tested that yet
Check this

You cannot import or export e-mail accounts with .IAF files in Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2003

SYMPTOMS
In previous versions of Microsoft Outlook, you were able to import and export your Internet Mail Account settings to an Internet Account file (.IAF) format. This feature was available in Microsoft Outlook 2000 Internet Mail Only (IMO) by clicking Accounts on the Tools menu. The option is not available in Outlook 2002.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, use the following steps to import Internet Mail Accounts settings from the e-mail programs that are on your computer:
Start Outlook.
On the File menu, click Import and Export.
Click Import Internet Mail Account Settings, and then click Next.
Follow the Import and Export Wizard to complete the import process.

Thanks people.

Exporting a .pst file doesn't save the email account settings and the workaround from MS is only useful for importing from another program. (not backing up ones that you only have in Office 2003).

However...
I did find a solution, which I'm surprised that MS doesn't document more obviously.

There's a "Microsoft Office 2003 Save My Settings Wizard" in the "Microsoft Office Tools".  That will allow you to 'save' and 'restore' all Office settings to and from a file.  I tried it and it works fine for backing up email account settings.

The only disadvantage is that the accounts can't be saved separately.  It saves all of them in one file (as well as any other Office settings, I guess).  So you'd want to be careful that you're not overwriting recent changes when you use a previously backed up file.

I don't know whether this works with Office XP or not.
You finding should work .. Also did you check my last suggestion.. Will that be useful

This does work with Office XP. now to see if I can import my setting into Office 2003 :-)
