Hello sunray. &nbsp;The only thiing I have been able to confirm is that my ISP inbox contains one message but when Outlook downloads there is suddenly two messages exactly the same. &nbsp;This is a standard pop3 account, no exchange. &nbsp;I have not tried the remove / backup / delete route as I was hoping there was somethnig easy I was overlooking. &nbsp;Thanks for the response.

simple recreation of the account might solve it .. <br />
<br />
It also should not matter whether in that account properties you have put &quot;leave a copy of the message in server&quot; or not.. <br />
