Outlook 2003: How to turn off "Show in groups" default setting.
I could not turn off "Show in groups" default setting in Outlook 2003.
I already studied experts-exchange and found the the following solutioins did not work:
http://email.about.com/od/outlooktips/qt/et051805.htm
http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/grouping.htm
They do not reset existing fiolders.
Could you help me to disable "Show in groups" "feature"?

Hi Upul,

Could you rephrase this question?
> In Outlook, when you select View > Arrange By > is the 'view in groups' ticked??
Yes
> what happens when you deselect it??
It's deselected.
> If it is selected and after deselecting, close and reopen outlook. Had the deselected view changed.
This specific folder has deselected "Show in groups" folders.
Nevertheless all other folders have "Show in groups" option selected.
> Please set the View > Arrange By > as 'Date' (for testing only)
It's my standard view.

Hi,
Just wanted to know how your email account was set up in the first place.
> In Outlook, when you select View > Arrange By > is the 'view in groups' ticked??
<<Yes
In the above case after you deselect it, does your email stop appearing in groups???

This specific folder has deselected "Show in groups" option. E-mails are not grouped in this folder anymore.
Nevertheless all other folders still have "Show in groups" option selected.
My question was about resetting of "Show an groups" option for all existing folders.

In Outlook, when you select View > Arrange By > is the 'view in groups' ticked?? what happens when you deselect it??
If it is selected and after deselecting, close and reopen outlook. Had the deselected view changed.
Please set the View > Arrange By > as 'Date' (for testing only)
My apologies if I am walking you through the same steps again, but please do post your observations for each of the above questions.
Best regards
