convert pst 2003 format to 2001 formant
can i do it?
no. You must create a PST in xp or 2000 format (they are the same) and then import all the mail from the 2003 pst. You will have to use a 2003 program to perform the import from the 2003 pst.
Greetings, hiroyuki718 !
There is no 2001 format, as there is no Outlook 2001. There are Outlook 97, 98, 2000, 2002, and 2003 formats. When you create a new PST file in Outlook 2003, you have to option to select 97-2002 format (ANSI) or 2003 format (Unicode). Select the former. Then drag the emails and contacts to the new PST file.
Create a new PST file.

Then drag all the emails and contacts addresses to the new PST file.
