Finding specific attachments in Outlook 2003 (Not Exchange)
Greetings:
Using the advanced find features doesn't allow you to find specific attachments with a specific extension. So, how can I scavenge thru my mailbox looking for .zip files?
Connected to an exchange environment, but I don't want the admin guys to do it with exmerge. I want to be able to do it as a user.
And if possible, look for other sorts of files too, such as .ppt
Thanks

Is there a hidden field name in outlook that references the attachment name? Something I can add as a custom field to a view?
I know ... I'm reaching.

Thanks for the input. I've used lookout before especially with public folders. Works great.
... but I'm afraid hte security guys won't approve it without testing.
I think this is one of the flaws with outlook. It doesn't look for file extensions with just the advanced find. I can use exmerge but the users can't do that.
I'm hoping somebody has a little bit of code for me that "I" can use as an advanced user. And we'll fall back on outlook if the security guys approve it.
Thanks!!!
