MS Word XP Runtime Library Error
When MS Word XP is opened, the following appears.
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\WINWORD.EX
abnormal program termination
What is the fix for this?

That worked and thank you very much. However, when this started in the beginning there is a grid on the page. Meaning the gid is within the margins. I went to Options and turned off "Show Page Outline", but the grid is on the screen.
that's good..... now tell me when u searched the system for Normal.dot..... did it come up only one file or more ??
coz i forgot to tell that u have to delete all instances of Normal.dot... sorry abt that =|

We deleted the Normal.dot's. I also found out that the drawing grid was on and now that problem is fixed. I want to thank you very much for your support.

so as the problem is solved,,,,, u can close this question,,,,,just hit the Accept button infront of the comment which solved ur proble, and then assign a grade..... that's all :)
