The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Make a Check Box on word doc

Hello,

I am not an expert at word at all.  I do know that you can make a document with checkboxes.  I want to make a document that will allow a user to check the questions that have been answered.  I have read some posts and I found that you can add a check box through the forms toolbar.  I did this but in order to make it work you have to protect the document.  ONce the document is protected then the user can not add any comments anwhere on the form because everthing else is frozen except the ability to click on teh check box.  

How can i make a check box that woudl allow the user to check and then also be able to edit the text?  
Also the check box defaults to an "X" but I would need for it to be a check mark.  
I seem to remember that the fax templates had this capability but to make a document out of the fax template was a troublesome.
