Outlook 2002 E-mail appearing closed.
In Outlook a user has e-mail appearing as closed but not as new mail eg.
The user has genuine new e-mail which is closed and marked as bold.
However there is also some mail that appears closed (the mail icon on the left) but is not marked bold as unread. When the user opens one of these messages the others that appear in the same way all go to the normal as being read state.
Any ideas welcome.

No rules setup in Outlook.
Tried to run the detect and repair but no matter what data1.msi file I tried to point to it wouldn't accept. No success just yet.
