New RDS Server
Good afternoon ixxxxe team,
The time for the new 3rd RDS server to be implemented in our network is approaching. I would like to stress the importance of performing the appropriate testing before putting it on line. I recommend simulating what the user will experience on Monday morning when/if he will be routed to the new RDS server. In this way, we can reproduce exactly what the users will be experiencing when on Monday morning they will be hitting that new server. Please, consider that even minor change or delays that the user may be experiencing the first time when they log in to the new server, if not explained properly, It could be interpreted as a failure of the upgrade, with a following complain to the help desk and Management team.
Please, after performing the appropriate testing, provide me a clear summary of what the user experience should be like on Monday morning by Friday 25th at 2:00pm.
I will send out a descriptive email to the NCH staff on Friday 25th at 4PM EST informing everyone what to expect on Monday morning if they happen to hit the new server.
Thank you for following this new deadline.
