Index conflict between Pervasive CC & Magic: cannot see the indexes on Pervasive SQL control center && definition mismatch on Magic

hi all...

i have a database which has indexes from Magic version 8.3 SP7, however when i opened the database on Pervasive SQL control center, i couldn't see any indexes. (my php page are running slow without the recognizable indexes).

yet i couldn't created my own indexes: when i did it on Pervasive CC, and saved it, it changed the .dat file and i jumped back to Magic i got an error of "definition mismatch on table c:\....\...\001.dat"

i appreciate anyone's comments on this!
