I am trying to removed Data from the sql on a Novell 4.11 Compaq Server with 3 Workstations running Platinum accounting Software (This is the data I need) package version 3?. Its running Btrieve 6?. I can access the server drives through ms-dos 6.22 and login to server via keyboard monitor. I am very unfamiliar with the novell and btrieve I do alot of linux/mysql and have good understanding of dos. Particularly this version. I was wondering if someone could give me expert advice on getting this accounting data out of there I would prefer a comma seperated, tab delimited. File or something that is tangible in windows xp enviroment. Please give me some advice to to this process. Also I did find some .ddf files on the server through the MS-Dos enviroment. Basically I want to export them to convert them for quickbooks. Thanks Much!
