With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. Pervasive DSN issue

I am receiving the following error when trying to create a DSN in Pervasive Control Center 9.6

7039: Invalid destination dictionary path

Trouble is, the path exists, is fully accessible in Windows Explorer both using UNC or a mapped path.

Also, I've never seen this error before today, now it's suddenly hijacked two servers, one of which appears to be working again, but the other continues to dog me with this silly problem.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

The DDFs work fine on other machines.

I've been working on an "automatic DSN generating" component for an application using dto.dll which was going very well until I started testing it across different versions of Pervasive... not sure how this could wreck an installation, but it is the only thing unusual happening today, might be related.
