Btrieve error 51

I need to change the path of the Xf$Loc in the Xf$Name file executing a SQL statement.  (I'm using Pervasive PSQL.)  I keep getting a Btrieve #51 error - stating something like Data Record Manager owner name is invalid.  (I set the owner to "master", but that didn't work.)  Is there a way to clear the owner or find out what the owner name is if it's hardcoded in the DDF?
