bmsjeff,
I responded above to another user trying to convert from 6 to 2009. GL's recommendations are good but I've heard of a lot of people having conversion problems going directly from 6 to 2009.
I'd download and install a copy of ACT! 2008. Convert from 6 to 2008. Then install/upgrade to 2009 and convert/upgrade the 2008 database.
Let us know if that works
Steve

There are products that will do this via Export/Import... /products/ add-ons/ex port-for-a ct-6/ produ ctinformat ion.html .au/main/5 7/1
tions.com/ redflag.ht ml
Export - http://www.crmaddon.com/en
Import - http://www.glcomputing.com
But before trying that, it might be best to check the ACT! 6 database with Red Flags - http://www.cornerstonesolu
