Under the printer port "enable print pooling", then select the printer you want to redirect jobs.

How are your printers set up? Are they both standalone and physically connected to your computer? Are they printers shared from a server? Are they network printers?

If they are network printers, you can just change the IP address (assuming they're the same model or can use the same driver). If they're shared from a server, you can change the port of the shared printer to the port for the other one. If they're physically connected to your computer, you can't really redirect jobs from one to the other. The most you can do is set the other as a default and/or delete the one you're not using.

Can we have a bit more information about what you're trying to do?  Are you just trying to select a new printer for a print job?  Is there a type of file that calls a specific printer that needs to have a change added?

the users printed over 200 documents to the printer and it is taking too long, so I was thinking I could redirect/move some of the jobs to another printer, it is a HP laserjet 4100 using the PS driver and the printer i want to redirect to is a HP Laserjet 8150 using PS driver, both are network printers shared from the same server.

I have tried the print pooling method it does not work

Printer pooling really only works if the primary print device is offline. I would manually change the port of the busy printer to the port of the unused printer since what I think you want to do is use a faster printer to get the job done faster.

I'm assuming you're primary print device wasn't working, that's why I gave you that option. Since you really didn't give us any specifics. Use victornegri's suggestion and let us know how it works out.
Or you can use the print pooling option and set the primary printer offline/unreachable.
