Question

Act 2009 Network Sync hangs at Database modifications process

I have a few users that get hung up at the database modications part of network sync (see screenshot). Telnet to 65100 on SQL server works fine. There is proper connectivity.

Any ideas?

Can you check the build (in Help | About) for ACT! in the Server, ACT! on the Workstations and the Network Sync Server

If they are not all at 11.1, can you update them (don't forget the Sync Server as many do

Can you also run Database Maintenance on both Publisher and Subscribers

If it still fails, try the repair options in ACTDIAG

in ACTdiag.exe i would also recommend "rebuild Schema" and "rebuild sync objects" for the master and remote database
