Find the license.dbf file then rename it to license.dbfOLD
Launch GoldMine and it will ask you to re-register
A page (last page actually) registration wizard will be a place for you to make a new login. Make sure it is a login you have never used before like Mas2 or whatever and that user will be a Master User, then you can log back in with the new master name and reset the password.
1. Find and backup/save your users.* files; probably in x:\goldmine or x:\program files\goldmine
2. Do a dummy installation to another directory, or even on another machine.
3. Copy x:\dummy\goldmine\users.* to your production area.
4. Log in to GoldMine using master / access, just to prove that you can.
5. Either:
a. Manually recreate your user accounts using File | Configure | Users Settings, or
b. User br7 (from www.redstonesoftbase.com) to import your old users.dbf into your now current users.dbf. Careful: you don't want to overwrite your current Master record with the old useless Master record!
Good luck,
Steven
