Goldmine 6.7 Corporate Edition: Welcome screen error.

This morning, we suddenly are unable to open GM. Every time we double click the shortcut on any machine on the network, a welcome to GM 6.7 wizard opens. Telling us that it "has detected databases from a prior version". I was tempting to run through the wizard, but was stopped when asking for the serial number. The application was installed before I started with the company and they did not keep good records.
